Will certain areas have higher drops than others? Or do we just go around blindly killing npcs hoping for drops?

Do not forget there will be events in-game, on the forums, IRC or Teamspeak that will allow you to get tickets. You do not have to only farm the NPCs for tickets - do some events too.

ATM there is an event on the forums, there will be Karaoke on TS3 tonite and they will be doing trivia this weekend on IRC and I am sure there will be some in-game events this weekend too. Also there will be many more events to come everywhere during the month of October.

The Halloween tickets can drop from killing mobs and are available as rewards from events in game and out of game on the forums, in IRC or on Teamspeak.

Last year in ALL events give us Tickets...
Last year mobs drops 1-3 tickets...
Last year ALL mounts cost 50 Tickets... if last year the event was just for 1 week, is just maths:

1 week = 50 tickets /mount
4 weeks = 200 tickets... not 750!

calculating, u get 1 ticket per minute, so 750 minutes farming is 12,5 hours!
